Custom Basement Packages
Our Custom Basement Package is the foundation for our quoting process and takes the guesswork our of budgeting. Building off of this foundation we can customize your basement to your exact specifications.
The Custom Basement Package is based on a finished living space of up to 600sf with 8′ ceilings, exterior framing and insulation already complete and staircase leading to basement already finished.
Don’t see anything you like? No problem, we can customize any material to a selection of your choice from local suppliers.
Planning
- Design Consultation
- Detailed Drawings to Scale
- All Required Permits
Framing
- Supply and install of materials for partition walls and bulkheads.
- Pressure treated bottom plates
Electrical
- Circuits for up to four rooms
- Arc-fault protected, tamper-proof receptacles to satisfy Alberta Building Code
- Up to 3 x standard flush-mount (dome) fixtures
- Smoke/CO detectors as required
- 1 Coax (RG6) Cable Outlet
Drywall
- Supply and install of materials for smooth surface walls (level 4 finish)
- Aqua-board, mold resistant board on tub/shower walls
- Ceilng texture (popcorn)
- Knockdown Texture
HVAC
- Replace existing rectangle-style vents with diffuser (round) vents.
- Drop cold air return to ground level.
Flooring
- Carpet
- 5mm Glue-down Vinyl: 5mm glue-down vinyl from albertavinyl.ca.
Finishing
- Passage doors: Up to 3 hollow-core doors to match your main-floor
- Baseboards: Up to 4″ mdf baseboards to match your main-floor
- Casing: Up to 3″ casing to match your main floor
- Windows: MDF jamb extensions and casing for two windows
- Closet: One standard closet up to 7′ with bifold doors and MDF shelf with hanging bar
- Door and closet pulls
Painting
- Primer: 1- Coat Sherwin Williams or Cloverdale Drywall Primer & Sealer
- Walls: 2-coats Sherwin Williams or Cloverdale in an eggshell finish – choice of one colour.
- Trim: 2-coats sprayed Sherwin Williams or Cloverdale – Bright White
- Painted feature walls
Cleaning
- Garbage cleared at the end of each trade (no need for a bin taking up your driveway for the duration of the project)
- Professional final clean of basement including mechanical room.
Bathtub (Upgrade)
- Bathtub: MAAX Exhibit 30″x60″ Professional Series Acrylic Bathtub – White
- Shower (Upgrade): Maax Professional Series 60″x32″ Acrylic Base White or Tiled Base
- Shower Door: Choose from 6mm, 8mm or 10mm
Tile
- Choose up to 2 tiles for the bathroom at no additional cost in 12×24 or 12×12 size. Bathroom floor, tub/shower walls up to the ceiling will be tiled
- $6.00/sf product allowance (will cover any ceramic or porcelain tile option from our supplier – over 40 choices)
- 6″ vanity backsplash to match floor/wall tile
Plumbing Fixtures
- Vanity Faucet: Delta Wynne Chrome or $140 Product Allowance
- Shower Trim: Delta Lahara Chrome or $200 Product Allowance
- Toilet:American Standard Colony 3 Comfort Height Elongated Bowl or $175 Product Allowance
